Job Description
The client is looking for a senior functional analyst (8+ years) to document and align data exchanges between an acquired insurance software package and the cross-functional platforms that manage individual and business member-client data. This person bridges the business, architecture, integration and development teams: they write specifications and exchange contracts, analyze how package configuration choices affect services, APIs and flows, and contribute to the backlog. The role extends into quality, as they prepare and run integrated and end-to-end tests and help analyze integration rejections. The business context is group insurance pricing, but the work centers on data and integration rather than on the insurance product. The mandate starts November 9 with an estimated end date of December 31, 2026, and an extension is planned.
Candidate sought : a senior functional analyst who has defined exchange contracts and integration specifications (REST APIs, events, JSON/XML) in a multi-system environment, and who has validated the flows personally through integrated testing and SQL queries. Experience with SAPIENS or a comparable insurance package, or with master data management, puts them at the top of the list.

- Large-scale digital transformation programs involving multiple teams and vendors

- Profile listing APIs or REST under skills, with no project where they defined or documented exchanges between systems.
- Integration architect or developer profile whose experience covers technical design or code, with no responsibility for functional specifications.
- Profile whose testing is limited to user interface testing, with no data or application flow validation.
- Data or BI analyst profile with no responsibility for functional analysis of integrated systems.
