Mandate Overview:
The client is looking for a second solution architect, at the same level as the current one, to absorb major initiatives and the modernization of an ecosystem combining legacy, on-premises and cloud. The role sits close to enterprise and business architecture: cross-system integration, reuse, corporate standards, non-functional requirements. The person proposes solutions, defends them before other architects and up to vice-presidents, and approves those of others, beyond savings. They manage no one: they facilitate workshops, mobilize the systems architects and make decisions with them, based on their impact analyses.
On technology, capability-level knowledge of Azure, .NET and React is enough, and it may come from projects where these technologies were used; Salesforce and MuleSoft are assets. Finance or savings experience is not required on arrival.
