Data Engineer - Databricks (Remote)

We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our remote team and take ownership of building and scaling data solutions using Databricks on AWS. This is a hands‐on senior IC role with strong influence on architecture and implementation.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL / ELT pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, and AWS
- Work with large, complex datasets in production environments
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Python and advanced SQL
- Build pipelines from scratch, not just maintain existing ones
- Ensure data quality, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Collaborate closely with product, analytics, and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Contribute to architectural decisions and data engineering best practices
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
- Strong, hands‐on experience with: Python, SQL (advanced), PySpark, Databricks (production experience required) and AWS
- Proven experience designing and building end‐to‐end data pipelines
- Solid understanding of distributed data processing and data modeling
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
