As an English as a Second Language Tutor, you will support federal public servants developing their English skills. Use LRDG's pedagogical material during virtual sessions, connect with learners, and adapt instruction to different levels. This self-employed work is available across Canada, Monday to Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish positive connections with learners
- Understand and engage learners throughout sessions
- Provide remote English tutoring sessions
- Complete electronic administrative documents promptly
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Good spoken and written French
- Comfort using MS Outlook and Teams
- Computer with webcam or video capabilities
