The Janitor Maintenance Worker reports to the Site Manager at Lookout Housing and Health Society. This work supports site cleanliness, building functions, and ongoing premises maintenance. Duties include floor care, disinfection, equipment upkeep, repairs, plumbing, and landscaping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sweep, wash, wax floors, and disinfect surfaces
- Remove garbage and empty recycling containers
- Monitor and maintain building equipment
- Repair suites, plumbing, landscaping, and premises
- Support staff, volunteers, and facility needs
Requirements:
- Grade 12 and two years recent related experience
- Current Occupational First Aid Level 1 Certificate
- Respirator fit testing and clean-shaven seal area
- Ability to manage stress and organize workload
- Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Clearance
