The position serves adults experiencing deteriorating physical health while supporting dignity, age in place, and varying care needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist guests with feeding, bathing, transfers, and toileting
- Support cleaning, laundry, bedding, and personal supplies
- Follow care plans and document observations and activities
- Administer medication and provide medication reminders
- Prepare meals, shop for groceries, and support activities
Requirements:
- Care Aide Certificate and BC Care Aide Registration
- Recent related experience or equivalent education, training, and experience
- Current Occupational First Aid Level 1 and Food Safe
- Crisis Intervention Skills and Naloxone Training
- Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Clearance
