Responsibilities
What your days look like as a Heavy Equipment Operator:
- Efficiently load conveyor and truck of salt and aggregate;
- Load railcars of pipes and different materials;
- Perform general labor tasks including equipment inspections and maintenance;
- Operate snowplows to ensure safe and clear access throughout the terminal;Maintain a clean and organized work environment at the terminal.
Qualifications
To succeed as a Heavy Equipment Operator, you must have:
- Two to three (2-3) years of experience operating a loader with a bucket and forks, preferably;
- Comparable to a CAT 980;
- Strong ability to perform manual labor and maintain equipment;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow safety protocols;
- Work in unfavorable weather conditions.
