Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy Operations, the Pharmacy Manager oversees medication preparation, inventory, patient needs, and department performance. This senior role combines people management, customer service, financial accountability, and community-based marketing. You will also educate customers through public relations activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, hire, coach, and manage pharmacy staff performance
- Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely
- Maintain inventory levels for medications and supplements
- Counsel patients about new and additional medications
- Review sales, contribution, and department operating costs
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required
- Class A Pharmacist license required
- Minimum three years of retail experience
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Healthwatch or KROLL Pharmacy systems knowledge is an asset
