This senior leadership role oversees physical inventory nationwide. Reporting to the VP, Finance, Enterprise Business Services, the Senior Director provides strategic direction for Retail Inventory. You will lead physical inventory programs across Corporate, Franchise, and Associate locations. The mandate includes controls, third-party governance, financial integrity, automation, analytics, and stakeholder leadership across Store Operations, Finance, Technology, and Loss Prevention. Key Responsibilities:
Set Retail Inventory strategy and multi-year enterprise roadmap Lead physical inventory planning, execution, governance, and analysis Oversee third-party performance, count quality, controls, and escalation Advance standardized, automated, scalable inventory operations Coach geographically dispersed teams and develop leadership capability Requirements:
10+ years progressive leadership experience in Retail Inventory or related disciplines Experience leading complex internal and outsourced operations Strong financial controls, governance, risk, and compliance knowledge Transformation, standardization, automation, analytics, and technology experience Business, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related degree or diploma Shape Loblaw’s Retail Inventory future through enterprise strategy, controls, transformation, and collaborative executive leadership across Canada.
