Reporting to the VP IFTS, the Senior Manager oversees service delivery, business development, onboarding, and conflict resolution. The position supports cargo documentation, process improvements, SOP execution, customer billing, and account profitability. It also develops staff and maintains relationships with clients, vendors, overseas offices, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage departmental operations, service delivery, and client-facing communication
- Oversee onboarding, SOP execution, documentation, and shipment billing
- Identify upselling, pricing, revenue, and margin improvement opportunities
- Coordinate staff scheduling, coaching, recruitment, and development
- Maintain account profitability and resolve operational conflicts
Requirements:
- Eight years of progressive experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Logistics or Transportation
- Thorough understanding of P & L and budget processes
- Strong decision-making, organization, and time management skills
- MS Office Suite skills, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
