As a Senior Software Engineer on the Ecosystem Services Team, you will develop server-side logic and integrations. You will maintain cloud infrastructure, APIs, data contracts, and service reliability. Collaboration spans frontend engineers, product managers, Cloud Engineering, UX, and design partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead backend development and maintain server-side application logic
- Deploy, operate, monitor, and improve services in production
- Investigate incidents during on-call and off-hours support rotations
- Maintain monitoring and alerting with OpenTelemetry, Sentry, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Contribute to API design, reviews, security, and privacy assessments
Requirements:
- Four or more years of backend-focused software development experience
- Professional experience with Python, TypeScript, Node.js, or Rust
- PostgreSQL, SQL optimization, schema design, and migrations proficiency
- Google Cloud Platform and Docker deployment experience
- Experience mentoring engineers and operating production services
