Coordinate transportation schedules at Lineage Logistics using dispatch systems, dynamic routing, and strong communication skills. Work first shift, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
As a Dispatcher, you will support Lineage's Transportation Team by scheduling vehicles into and out of loading docks. The work includes shipping coordination, order management, carrier relationships, and delivery adjustments. You will help meet customer service requirements while monitoring driver hours and addressing operational issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily driver and equipment dispatch schedules
- Route outbound products through the dynamic routing system
- Create and maintain inbound and outbound dispatch orders
- Monitor driver hours and coordinate assignment changes
- Recommend solutions and identify continuous improvement opportunities
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- Shipping or transportation coordination experience or relevant certification
- Basic shipping operations and import-export process knowledge
- Willingness to learn transportation management software
- Microsoft Office proficiency and strong communication skills
