The Accounting Associate supports day-to-day accounting functions at Linamar Corporation. This position assists with financial statements, product line income statements, variance analysis, and monthly accounts payable and receivable aging. The work also includes fixed assets, payroll backup, and standard cost development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare month-end reconciliations and journal entries with complete backup
- Support financial statements, reconciliations, and accounting reports
- Complete product line income statements and variance analysis
- Process monthly accounts payable and receivable aging accurately
- Prepare payroll backup when the Payroll Clerk is absent
Requirements:
- University degree or college diploma in Accounting, Business, or related discipline
- One to two years of manufacturing experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management proficiency
- Ability to work independently and within a team
