KIN-Kinesiologist in Saint John

Lifemark Physiotherapy is seeking a Kinesiologist who shares our philosophy of enriching the health of Canadians through movement. This position is integral in promoting our clients’ healing and improving recovery time.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to perform ergonomic assessments, POET’s, work hardening, facilitating FCE’s, and training opportunities available. This role offers the chance to work collaboratively with a team of clinicians and exposure to complex occupational rehab cases.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments in collaboration with other registered clinicians and case managers.
• Design, implement, and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and/or work hardening programs.
• Perform biweekly reassessment of client progress through functional testing.
• Record functional and subjective findings in client charts regularly.
• Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals.
• Conduct group orientation and education lectures and regular one-on-one education to clients.
• Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress, and discharge.
• Ensure return to work plans with client and employer are documented in the client chart.

What You Bring to the Team:

• Graduate of a University Kinesiology program.
• 2+ years of experience considered an asset.
