As a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist, you will collaborate with referral sources and team members to help injured workers re-enter employment. The work includes assessing transferable skills, identifying barriers, and developing employment plans. You will also provide job search training and counselling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review vocational profiles covering education, experience, and employment history
- Assess transferable skills and employment barriers for clients
- Facilitate job search workshops and counselling sessions
- Identify suitable jobs and return to work plans
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain confidential information
Requirements:
- Minimum two years vocational rehabilitation experience
- University degree preferred in a related discipline
- Understanding of the local labour market
- CVRP designation or eligibility considered an asset
- Willingness to travel to the Lifemark clinic
