This temporary full-time Medical Laboratory Technologist position exceeds 12 months and focuses on histology. You will prepare, process, interpret, and release results while following LifeLabs safety, quality, and efficiency standards. The position offers opportunities to share knowledge in teaching laboratories and teach student placements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing
- Prepare, process, label, and document samples accurately
- Interpret and release confidential patient results
- Identify non-conformities and support corrective actions
- Maintain regulatory compliance and quality assurance standards
Requirements:
- Medical Laboratory Science diploma, degree, or equivalent
- Current CMLTO registration in good standing
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong computer and laboratory analyzer skills
- Ability to distinguish multiple colors
