LifeLabs seeks detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technologists for an existing position ending September 18, 2027. You will support accurate, timely patient results through clinical testing, laboratory information systems, quality procedures, and equipment troubleshooting. The discipline is Microbiology, with shifts potentially starting or ending between 5:00 AM and 12:30 AM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical testing and release accurate patient results
- Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers
- Monitor quality control and resolve testing discrepancies
- Validate reagent lots and implement new laboratory methods
- Maintain specimen handling and test-specific protocol expertise
Requirements:
- Registration through CAMLPR pathways or CSMLS certification
- Microbiology experience within the last five years preferred
- Recent relevant laboratory discipline experience preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Windows-based systems and laboratory software
