This Imaging & Analysis Software Engineer bridges the SPIM Imaging Team with Data Engineering & Analysis. You will install, configure, maintain, and improve software for internal teams and external customers. The work connects microscopy systems, scientific software engineering, and customer-facing technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, deploy, integrate, and validate imaging software
- Troubleshoot customer installation, configuration, and processing issues
- Maintain reliable operation across hardware and software environments
- Implement requested software features for customers and development needs
- Document installation, troubleshooting, testing, and software procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and two-plus years' relevant professional experience
- Linux or Windows installation, deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting experience
- Knowledge of version control, testing, debugging, and documentation
- Strong communication with technical and non-technical users
- Experience with scientific imaging or image analysis preferred
