This full-time, permanent Human Resources Generalist supports management, project teams, supervisors, and field employees. The position administers recruitment, documentation, employee relations, performance management, labour relations, payroll coordination, benefits, health and safety, and office operations. Work includes Ontario employment legislation and unionized employment requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate orientation, training, exit interviews, and onboarding processes
- Administer accurate employment contracts, agreements, and documentation
- Support managers with attendance, performance, conduct, and disciplinary matters
- Administer collective agreements, grievances, reporting, and union requirements
- Coordinate safety records, compliance, policies, and office operations
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources or related field
- Three to five years of progressive HR experience
- Working knowledge of Ontario employment and safety legislation
- Experience supporting unionized employees and collective agreements preferred
- Legal authorization to work in Canada and in-person availability
