This lawyer or notary position requires at least five years of business law experience. Reporting to the Vice-President, Legal and Regulatory Affairs and Corporate Secretary, you will advise departments and business partners. Your work will cover commercial agreements, financing, acquisitions, and real estate matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements
- Advise business development on acquisition transactions
- Participate in real estate sales and leasing transactions
- Prepare legal opinions for company matters
- Collaborate with departments on projects and legal issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in law
- Member in good standing of Barreau du Québec or Chambre des notaires du Québec
- At least five years of business law experience
- Strong drafting skills and excellent French
- Good written and spoken English
