Lead retail sales operations at The Brick through customer service, merchandising, and team leadership. Work across shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
Reporting to the Store Manager, the General Sales Manager leads sales team performance and store execution. Responsibilities include hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, performance appraisals, sales programs, promotions, and marketing events. The position also supports sales and margin targets, expense control, daily meetings, and Brick Group policy compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain excellence in merchandising, store detail, and customer service
- Hire, schedule, train, coach, and assess sales employees
- Implement sales programs and organize promotional events
- Lead daily team talks and sales meetings
- Increase delivered sales, closing ratio, and Return On Customer
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Two or more years of customer service or sales experience
- Retail supervisory or senior associate experience is an asset
- Strong communication, problem-solving, time management, and work ethic
- Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and other required shifts
