This position analyzes quotations, evaluates costs, monitors market conditions, and recommends pricing.
Collaboration with Business Development and internal stakeholders helps validate requirements, assumptions, delivery expectations, and supplier conditions during estimating.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide material pricing input during Business Development bid activities
- Develop pricing recommendations from supply chain perspectives
- Monitor market trends and changing material costs
- Identify supply risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Ensure estimates remain accurate and timely
Requirements
- Two to four years in material estimating, supply chain, or pricing
- Experience supporting bids, proposals, or pricing activities preferred
- Knowledge of sourcing practices and commercial considerations
- Ability to assess costs and make practical recommendations
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
