Here's where you'll have an impact:
PA Job Duties for Continuing Care:
- Prescription data entry, assembly, and preparation for delivery to nursing homes
- Working with various electronic medication administration software, including Catalyst and Point Click Care
- Learning and being familiar with the necessary process needed for accurate automation
- Working with pharmacy automation including PacMed, PacVision and PacRoll software
- Receiving telephone refill requests and questions from nursing home staff
- Ordering and replenishing supplies
- Drug order creation and receiving
- Administrative Duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks
- Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
- Assist with other pharmacy operations as required
What you bring to the table:
- Preferred: Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute
- Previous pharmacy experience is an asset
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
