LaPrairie Works Inc is hiring an experienced Heavy-Duty Service Truck Mechanic (Journeyman) for its Western Canada operations. This position services a diversified mobile and off-road fleet supporting highway and bridge maintenance, civil construction, and environmental work. Extended travel to remote worksites may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to job sites and inspect equipment performance
- Conduct routine servicing, cleaning, lubrication, and maintenance
- Test and repair engines, braking, steering, and drivetrain systems
- Diagnose equipment faults using computerized testing technologies
- Consult Mechanics and Supervisors while submitting required reports
Requirements:
- Journeyman or Red Seal Heavy Equipment Mechanic certification
- Minimum three years of Heavy-Duty Mechanic experience
- Class 5 driver's license and clean driver's abstract
- Class 3 license preferred, plus CVIP license
- Ability to lift heavy machinery and work after-hours
