Apply structural analysis and design expertise to industrial buildings, foundations, and equipment supports within LAPORTE’s consulting engineering practice. As a senior structural engineer, you will contribute to structural solutions for pharmaceutical, agri-food, industrial, and industrial biotech facilities. Your work includes preparing technical documents and applying construction codes and standards. You will coordinate with clients, contractors, partners, and multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout projects. Key Responsibilities:
Design industrial buildings, mezzanines, platforms, and supports Complete structural analyses and engineering calculations Develop specifications, plans, and technical reports Apply applicable building and construction codes Participate in client and contractor project meetings Requirements:
Civil or structural engineering bachelor’s degree Professional Engineers Ontario membership At least five years of relevant experience Knowledge of design and construction standards Experience with STAAD, S-Frame, or equivalent software Use structural design, analysis, documentation, and code knowledge to deliver industrial engineering solutions with LAPORTE.
