Langan seeks an Air Quality Permitting and Dispersion Modeling Specialist for projects serving clients throughout the United States. This specialist prepares emissions calculations, compliance reports, permit applications, and dispersion modeling analyses. The work includes Title V, PSD, New Source Review, and Environmental Impact Statement support. You will communicate technical products to clients and agencies while contributing to multidisciplinary engineering teams. Key Responsibilities:
Support air quality permitting and dispersion modeling projects Develop, execute, and analyze air quality dispersion models Evaluate impacts using AERMOD, MOVES, and CALPUFF Prepare emissions calculations, compliance reports, and permit applications Communicate technical work products to clients and agencies Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in environmental or chemical engineering Four-plus years in air quality permitting and modeling Experience with AERMOD, CALPUFF, AERSCREEN, or MOVES Experience preparing permit applications and detailed emissions calculations Strong analytical, judgment, and problem-solving capabilities Use dispersion modeling, permitting, and emissions analysis skills to deliver air quality consulting projects with Langan nationwide.
