As a Principal/Teacher in this leadership role, you will oversee academic and operational management at Peace Christian Academy. Your responsibilities will include ensuring adherence to the Alberta Program of Studies, guiding staff development, and fostering a positive school culture. The position is vital in maintaining the mission of providing education rooted in Christian values under the governance of the Lakeland Christian Schools Society.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report to the Head of Schools on academic performance
- Implement board policies and strategic directives
- Provide instructional leadership and curriculum oversight
- Manage school resources, scheduling, and compliance
- Establish standards for student conduct and learning environment
Requirements:
- Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate or eligibility
- Strong commitment to Christian values and lifestyle
- Leadership Quality Standard Certification or eligibility
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- First Aid Certification and Police Information Check required
