Shape mining communications, community engagement, and company storytelling with Lake Shore Gold in Timmins, Ontario. This full-time position requires relocation to the Timmins area. As Communications Coordinator, you will support Lake Shore Gold’s Timmins Operations, including the Bell Creek Complex and Timmins West mine. Your work will promote company initiatives across internal and external platforms while supporting employee engagement, reputation, and operational objectives. Regular community participation and occasional evening or weekend work are required. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare newsletters, intranet content, announcements, and presentations Capture photography and video from operations and community initiatives Support sponsorships, charitable initiatives, and community investment programs Coordinate public events, tours, and career fairs Develop digital content across multiple communication platforms Requirements:
Two to five years of relevant communications or marketing experience Industry experience in mining, construction, energy, or regulated fields Working knowledge of Canva, SharePoint, or similar tools Photography and video editing skills considered assets Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment Use clear writing, visual storytelling, and digital coordination to communicate Lake Shore Gold’s mining operations and community priorities.
