The Laframboise Group seeks a Senior Mechanical Estimator with industrial project experience. You will estimate millwrighting work, interpret construction drawings and P&IDs, and prepare complete, accurate bids. The position supports projects valued at $10MM or more while coordinating concurrent proposals and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Study plans and specifications for accurate quantity take-offs
- Apply productivity factors, hourly rates, and site conditions
- Prepare bid documents meeting RFP requirements
- Compare supplier and subcontractor pricing for best value
- Perform bid-to-construct comparisons and quantify scope changes
Requirements:
- 15+ years working and estimating millwrighting industrial projects
- Experience with industrial projects valued at $10MM or more
- Advanced construction drawing and P&ID interpretation proficiency
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Expertise with Microsoft Office, Excel, SharePoint, and estimating software
