Coordinate field quality in Thunder Bay using site inspection and plan interpretation skills. This full-time role follows a 14/14 work schedule.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Quality Coordinator monitors field work quality at Fournier. The position covers work and material inspections, plan and specification interpretation, crew supervision, and unforeseen issue management. A Civil Engineering Technology diploma or equivalent relevant experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality control and site inspections of work and materials
- Interpret plans and specifications against project requirements
- Complete field follow-ups and provide technical recommendations
- Supervise and coordinate crews during work execution
- Identify site challenges and contribute to practical solutions
Requirements:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent relevant experience
- Comfort reading and interpreting plans and specifications
- Ability to assess field conditions accurately
- Ability to provide technical recommendations when needed
- Autonomy when managing unforeseen situations
