Lead construction finance for LCL Group of Companies in Moncton or Charlo, New Brunswick, with ownership of accounting operations and reporting. This senior leadership role reports to the President and oversees finance across L.C.L. Excavation (2006) Inc, Pavage J.R. Lagacé Paving Inc, and MacArthur's Paving (2026) Inc. You will guide financial operations, internal controls, reporting, and accounting team leadership while working closely with Operations. The position supports financial performance, business decisions, and continuous improvement across the group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own accounting and finance functions across group companies
- Lead month-end, year-end, consolidated reporting, and financial statements
- Oversee payables, receivables, payroll, reconciliations, and general ledger
- Manage construction job costing, WIP reporting, and project analysis
- Review cost-to-complete forecasts, margins, and cost variances
Requirements:
- Seven-plus years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Senior accounting or financial management experience
- Leadership experience managing accounting departments and teams
- Construction accounting, job costing, WIP, and forecasting experience preferred
- CPA designation preferred; ERP and Excel proficiency required
