As a Manual Machinist, you will be essential to our skilled team, working primarily with machines to prep and finish parts such as rods, barrels, and pistons. With a minimum of five years of machining experience, you will read blueprints and work orders, as well as set up and operate various machines, ensuring precision throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform boring, key way cutting, and profile machining
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders
- Calculate dimensions using math and instruments
- Measure and test units for compliance with specifications
- Set up, adjust, and operate basic and specialized machines
Requirements:
- Journeyman certificate preferred, apprentices accepted
- Minimum five years' machining experience
- Knowledge of lathes, mills, and precision tools
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Willingness to work occasional overtime
