The Faculty of Health seeks one Nursing Instructor for the Graduate Nurse-Internationally Educated Re-entry Program. This one-year certificate prepares internationally educated nurses for Canadian practice and licensure. The appointment includes medical clinicals in spring and summer, plus surgical clinicals in fall.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach GNIE 1117 medical clinicals during spring term
- Teach GNIE 1117 medical clinicals during summer term
- Teach GNIE 1227 surgical clinicals during fall term
- Support preparation for Canadian professional nursing practice
- Develop students' communication skills with patients and colleagues
Requirements:
- Master's degree or master's degree in progress
- Eligible for unrestricted practicing membership with BCCNM
- Experience integrating and educating internationally educated nurses preferred
- Related work experience in Canada
