Lead people strategy and workplace safety at KingFisher Boats in Vernon, BC, overseeing HR, payroll, benefits, and compliance initiatives. This senior role reports to the President.
As HR & Safety Manager, you will guide Human Resources, Health & Safety, Payroll, and Benefits. You will partner with organizational leaders on workforce planning, talent development, employee engagement, and business performance. The role also leads the HR team and supports operational decision-making as part of the Senior Management Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Health & Safety, Human Resources, Payroll, and Benefits functions
- Develop workforce planning and talent development strategies
- Oversee safety compliance, training, audits, and incident investigations
- Guide recruitment, onboarding, transitions, and offboarding processes
- Monitor HR metrics, budgets, systems, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Five to seven years of progressive HR leadership experience
- Experience overseeing HR, payroll, benefits, or occupational health and safety
- Knowledge of employment legislation and payroll compliance
- Proficiency with HRIS, payroll systems, Microsoft Office, and AI-enabled tools
