Design steel and concrete structures with Kiewit Industrial in Calgary, supporting North American projects through BIM and structural analysis. Flexible work options are available. This Structural Engineer role supports industrial projects across data center, water and wastewater markets. You will design building structures, equipment foundations, platforms, pipe-racks, tanks, and related systems. The work spans concept through construction and may include project leadership, mentoring, and cross-disciplinary coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare structural designs, analyses, calculations, drawings, and specifications
- Apply department and industry standards to project deliverables
- Use BIM to create plans, drawings, and structural details
- Coordinate structural issues with disciplines, construction, vendors, and owners
- Support process improvements and departmental performance goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or architectural engineering
- At least five years of industrial structural engineering experience
- Concrete, steel, modular structures, and preengineered buildings experience preferred
- PENG designation or completion within six to eighteen months
- Experience with SAP2000, SAFE, RISA, Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
