We're looking for an educator who values excellence, empathy, and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Maintain documentation, reporting, and record keeping
- Implement an Emergent Curriculum
- Support children's emotional, physical, and behavioral well-being while fostering social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills
- Maintain attendance and health and safety checks
- Collaborate with professionals such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists
- Support children through classroom transitions
- Meet all classroom ratios as outlined in CCEYA
- Participate in team meetings and workshops
Qualifications
- Registered with the College of ECE and in good standing
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
- Up-to-date immunization records and two-step TB test
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 45 lbs
