Apply electrical engineering design and analysis expertise with KGS Group in its Vancouver office. Support industrial, hydroelectric, commercial, and institutional projects. As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer, you will work within a diverse Electrical team while taking on project management tasks. Your work includes design studies, calculations, technical reports, and code reviews. You will coordinate documentation and collaborate with project management and other disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage electrical analysis and design for greenfield and brownfield projects
- Ensure designs meet client, industry, and regulatory requirements
- Review drawings, studies, specifications, reports, and calculations
- Coordinate quality, schedules, and budgets with project teams
- Support clients, proposals, leadership, and junior staff mentoring
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from a recognized university
- Five to ten years of electrical engineering design experience
- Professional Engineer registration with EGBC
- Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code, IEEE, and CSA standards
- Valid driver’s license and security clearance eligibility
- Bring electrical design, project coordination, and technical reporting experience to KGS Group’s Vancouver engineering team.
