Bring cleaning and sanitation expertise to Indwell as an Environmental Services Coordinator in Hamilton, Ontario, working primarily weekdays.
This full-time position supports buildings and programs serving residents experiencing mental health concerns or substance use. You will coordinate cleaning quality, supplies, safety, and relationships with program staff and tenants. Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize designated building areas and restrooms
- Complete heavy cleaning tasks and assigned special projects
- Report building or supply deficiencies to relevant team members
- Maintain stocked, organized supply rooms
- Support tenant employee mentorship and supervision when applicable
Requirements:
- Environmental Services or janitorial experience preferred, not required
- Compassion for people experiencing mental health concerns or substance use
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and safety data sheets
- Full G license, own vehicle, and ability to lift 40 pounds
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively
