As Childcare Assistant Director, you will work with the Centre Director to manage daily operations and business results. You will oversee staff, promote positive workplace culture, and help ensure quality standards and compliance. The position includes planning daily activities, supporting nutrition, and communicating with employees and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage operational, budgetary, and financial centre activities
- Provide oversight and direction to centre employees
- Coach, mentor, and develop staff members
- Maintain employee schedules and transparent communication
- Build relationships with families and community partners
Requirements:
- Minimum three years of early childhood experience
- Alberta Level 3 Child Development Supervisor Certificate
- Standard First Aid or Level C First Aid Certificate
- Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check within six months
- Microsoft Office and computer literacy skills
