In this role, you'll implement and manage Lockout/Tagout activities for the Kearl In-Pit Tailings Area Project. With an emphasis on safety and compliance, your expertise will ensure efficient energy isolation during construction and commissioning phases. Collaboration with various project teams, including Operations and HSSE, will be essential to the success of operations readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, implement, and maintain Lockout/Tagout isolations
- Review and develop isolation plans for diverse activities
- Conduct field verification of isolations
- Maintain isolation records and LOTO documentation
- Support commissioning activities and transitions
Requirements:
- Journeyperson Electrician qualification
- 5-10 years industrial experience in LOTO
- Strong understanding of energy isolation principles
- Excellent communication skills across disciplines
- Familiarity with permit-to-work and industrial safety practices
