Lead industrial civil engineering in Kent’s Calgary office, applying multidisciplinary coordination and design expertise across energy projects. Travel and site visits may be required. This Senior Civil Engineer coordinates deliverables, leads design teams, and reports project progress. You will support concept, FEED, detailed engineering, EPC, and EPCM projects. The work covers greenfield and brownfield facilities, infrastructure assessments, and practical engineering solutions across project lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate civil deliverables, schedules, resources, budgets, and quality
- Lead small teams and manage civil design activities
- Prepare and review grading, drainage, roads, and retaining walls
- Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces, construction queries, and vendor drawings
- Provide technical guidance and support engineering development
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Professional Engineer registration with APEGA
- Industrial civil design knowledge, including drainage, roads, and pipelines
- Proficiency with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and engineering analysis software
