As an OTR Tire Technician or Trainee, you will perform tire service and repair for mining equipment. The work includes mounting, dismounting, balancing, repairs, inspections, and equipment operation. You will support site maintenance teams while meeting Kal Tire safety standards and service expectations. Full onboarding training is provided without prior OTR experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mount, dismount, balance, and repair mining tires
- Inspect tires against safety and performance standards
- Operate manipulators, forklifts, and service trucks
- Support site maintenance teams and operational uptime
- Maintain safe, organized work areas and documentation
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and physical capability
- Tire technician or mining experience preferred
- Ability to operate tire service equipment
- Valid driver's licence required
- Successful pre-employment screening and physical assessment
