Diagnose and repair tractors and trailers as a licensed 310T/310J Technician working in person for Joseph Transportation Group in Mount Elgin.
Joseph Transportation Group seeks a full-time, permanent 310T/310J Technician for transportation equipment maintenance. You will perform gas and diesel repairs, document work orders, and support safe continuing operations. The position requires a valid 310T/310J License and at least one year of transportation industry mechanic experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair units brought into the shop
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled tractor and trailer maintenance
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance
- Record maintenance details through work order software
- Maintain safe, clean work areas and properly stored tools
Requirements:
- Valid 310T/310J License
- Minimum one year transportation industry mechanic experience
- Valid G driver's license; A or D considered an asset
- Mechanical ability in gas and diesel automotive repairs
- Strong communication, accuracy, and independent work skills
