Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise yard employees and coordinate daily operational needs
- Assign employees, equipment, and supplies for productivity
- Provide safety leadership and enforce work practices
- Train employees on forklifts, bobcats, and excavators
- Maintain recycling yard organization and assist operations
Requirements:
- Three-plus years managing, developing, and planning staff
- Steel service centre industry experience is an asset
- Forklift, bobcat, and heavy equipment experience is an asset
- Excellent problem-solving and de-escalation skills
- Effective written, verbal, analytical, and mathematical skills
