The Brokerage is a historic Quebec brokerage with approximately 300 employees that has experienced strong growth in recent years, notably driven by the structure and leadership implemented by the executive team. Hiring Context: In the current soft market, the firm has decided to invest in strengthening its leadership team to stand out and further solidify its market position. We are therefore seeking a leader with strong technical insurance expertise, as well as strategic vision and the ability to inspire teams.
The Role: You will be responsible for a team of 30 to 40 people, primarily made up of Commercial Insurance Account Directors. Two managers will report directly to you.
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Business development strategy
- Implementing new insurance programs to enhance the firm’s market positioning
- Compliance policy, which is a central pillar of the organization
- Training and coaching mid-market & large accounts
