Finance/Payroll Administrator - Community Living Temiskaming South, Haileybury, ON
Full Job Description
Seeking an individual to join our team who is personable, organized, takes initiative, and works well in a team environment. The individual must be able to provide effective administrative & financial assistance and support to the Management team.
Main Duties:
- Run accounts payable end to end vendor setup, invoice, payment runs expenses and reconciliations
- Lead a timely, repeatable month and year end close, including, accruals reconciliation as well as ministry reporting
- Coordinate and review payroll; make sure record accurately in general ledger and reports
Education / Training:
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related filed
- Preferably 3 to 5 years' experience in a nonprofit organization
- Strong attention to detail to deliver high quality and accurate work
- Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word and Excel and SharePoint
- Able to learn/adapt to new software programs
- Vulnerable Sector Check with positive result
- Superior communication, interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities
- Collaborative team player, flexible
- Well organized, a self-starter, able to work independently
- Ability to speak English and French is considered an asset.
Shift: Monday to Friday 8- hours by-weekly
Salary Range: Depending on Experience (57,595 -63,503) per year
Job Details: Fixed term contract
Pay: $57,595.00-$63,502.00 per year
Haileybury, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
