Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and integrate cutting-edge audio software systems using Gstreamer, Pipewire, React or equivalent.
- Develop and maintain software for embedded audio systems.
- Work closely with the hardware team to ensure seamless integration of embedded software with hardware designs.
- Debug and resolve software defects and issues.
- Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle including design, development, testing, code reviews, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and systems.
- Contribute to the development of project schedules, task and project completion time estimates, and resource plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our systems remain current and competitive.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded audio software development.
- Proven experience with Gstreamer, Pipewire, React or equivalent.
- Demonstrated understanding of audio signal processing algorithms and techniques.
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
