Accountabilities:
- Lead and evolve the company's DevOps and platform engineering practices, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and security.
- Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to support fast-paced development while maintaining system stability.
- Improve system observability using tools like Datadog and GCP monitoring, and define standards for SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs.
- Drive infrastructure cost optimization and performance improvements across cloud environments.
- Build internal tools and reusable infrastructure modules to enhance developer productivity.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and finance teams to align infrastructure with business goals.
Requirements:
- 6+ years in DevOps, SRE, or software engineering roles, ideally in high-growth or startup environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python or Go, with deep experience managing production systems and troubleshooting distributed architectures.
- Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes and associated tools (ArgoCD, Helm, Terraform).
- Experience with GCP or equivalent cloud providers, with a focus on cloud efficiency and infrastructure automation.
- Proven success in building CI/CD pipelines and internal developer platforms from scratch.
- Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog or Prometheus and previous experience participating in on-call rotations.
