This Manager, Vendor Relations role oversees more than 50 suppliers across a large retail network. You will translate merchandising and category strategies into agreements, business plans, and stronger execution. The work spans supplier performance, revenue, margin, and collaboration across merchandising, finance, analytics, supply chain, marketing, and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage onboarding, reviews, negotiations, billing, collections, and issue resolution
- Identify suppliers addressing assortment gaps and evolving customer needs
- Analyze performance data and deliver reports, dashboards, and insights
- Develop joint business plans with strategic suppliers
- Improve vendor governance, planning, and engagement processes
Requirements:
- Five to eight years in retail merchandising or related fields
- Experience managing partnerships and negotiating commercial agreements
- Advanced Excel and large dataset analysis experience
- Strong financial acumen and retail performance knowledge
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
