The Financial Accountant maintains general ledger and sub-ledger integrity while supporting financial reporting processes. Responsibilities include financial analysis, banking activities, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory reporting. The role also provides accounting guidance and resolves issues for internal teams, external stakeholders, and assigned clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain general ledger and sub-ledger account accuracy
- Prepare reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, and journal entries
- Review statements, cash flow, budgets, and fund balances
- Process bank reconciliations and fund transfers
- Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities
Requirements:
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- At least two years of accounting or finance experience
- Experience with general accounting and financial reporting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency with complex formulas
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
